New Postgraduate Students Joining the DataLab Research Group in 2025

We are excited to have four (4) postgraduate students join the lab in 2025. All the new students will either be supervised or co-supervised by faculty staff associated with the lab.

• Petros Ndumba is pursuing the PhD in Educational Administration and Management programme and, is broadly interested in optimisation of sustainable resource allocation using Artificial Intelligence. Petros' doctoral studies will supervised by Prof. Ferdinand Chipindi, Dr. Mwewabe co-supervised by Dr. Lighton Phiri
• Ennety Siwila is pursuing the Master of Library and Information Scienceprogramme and, is broadly interested in institutional repositories. Ennety Siwila will be supervised by Dr. Lighton Phiri
• Harris Shikapande is pursuing the PgDip Computer Science programme and is joining the "EIFL-JABS Diamond Open Access Publishing" Project team.  Harris Shikapande will be supervised by Dr. Lighton Phiri and, additionally, co-supervised by Prof. Chisoni Mumba, Dr. Christine Kanyengo and Dr. Eness Chitumbo
• Mubanga Chibesa is pursuing the PgDip Computer Science programme and is joining the "EIFL-JABS Diamond Open Access Publishing" Project team.  Harris Shikapande will be supervised by Dr. Lighton Phiri and, additionally, co-supervised by Prof. Chisoni Mumba, Dr. Christine Kanyengo and Dr. Eness Chitumbo
