Secure and Efficient Class Attendance
| Abstract
Manual attendance systems at the University of Zambia (UNZA) are time-consuming, prone to error and vulnerable to academic dishonesty. This project proposes an attendance system that uses QR codes, Bluetooth Low Energy and fingerprint technology for secure, efficient and contactless tracking, and follows a phased, Agile methodology built around a comparative analysis framework that scores each technology against criteria drawn from the literature.
