The 27th International Symposium on Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETD 2024) was held in Livingstone, Zambia, from November 4 to 6, 2024. The University of Zambia, through the DataLab Research Group, won the bid to host the symposium, the first on the African continent since 2011, and Dr Lighton Phiri chaired the Local Conference Organising Committee. ETD 2024 brought together librarians, repository managers and researchers working on electronic theses and dissertations from around the world. The proceedings are available at etd2024.unza.zm.
Elijah Chileshe presented a poster, co-authored with Lighton Phiri, on the design and implementation of an interoperable Zambia National ETD Portal.
