We have a total of 16 final-year undergraduate students working on projects related to what we do as a research group. All the new students are supervised by faculty staff associated with the lab.
- Richard Mufuzi, Nkole Mulenga, Geoffrey Ngoma, and Frazer Nyambe are working on "Automatic Generation of Electronic Theses and Dissertations Metadata", a topic linked to the wider National ETD Portal project. They are investigating effective techniques for automatically generating missing ETD metadata elements.
- Prudence Bule, Emmanuel Kuyela, Blessed Makungu, and Linda Mwanza are exploring the feasibility of building an "Integrated and Interoperable National Research Portal", to act as a central repository of research generated by various research institutes in Zambia.
- Hazel Bowa, Towela Kalikeka, Prudence Mwendaluta, and Rector Njobvu are investigating how "Effective Orchestration Using Interactive Tables".
- Brighton Mwaba, John Mwanza, Wilkins Sikazwe, and Andrew Shawa are investing the feasibility of designing and implementing "Interoperable Picture Archiving and Communication Systems" for use in public health facilities in Zambia. Their project is part of the wider project aimed at implementing Enterprise Medical Imaging strategies in Zambia.
