EMIZ Team Participating in Data Science Africa 2024 Workshop and Summer School

Two members of the Enterprise Medical Imaging in Zambia team will be participating in the Data Science Africa (DSA) conference this year. 

The DSA conference is a prestigious event held annually in which experts from around the globe and continent meet to share knowledge on data science and AI on the continent. The event is split into 2 events. Summer School and the Workshop. Malaizyo Gabriel Muzumala and Dr Lighton Phiri will be attending this year, with Dr Phiri scheduled to make a workshop presentation at the event.

Summer School and a Workshop. The Summer School will be an opportunity to build skills and knowledge in different areas based on sessions that will be held.

The Workshop will occur after the summer school and will involve the presentation of research and such work by academics and researchers at the cutting edge of the technologies on the continent.

The events present a good opportunity for the EMIZ team to interact with experts and potentially learn skills that will bring great value to the teams research and activities.
