As part of the EIFL-funded Diamond Open Access Journals project, two training workshops were held in Chongwe, Zambia, in 2025:
- an Editorial Support Team Training Workshop, facilitated by Lighton Phiri, Chisoni Mumba, Christine Kanyengo and Eness Chitumbo; and
- a Journal of Agricultural and Biomedical Sciences (JABS) Editorial Board Open Journal Systems (OJS) Platform Training Workshop, facilitated by Christine Kanyengo, Chisoni Mumba, K. Besa, Elijah Chileshe and Lighton Phiri.
The workshops strengthen editorial workflows and the use of OJS for the University of Zambia's Diamond Open Access journals.
