Conference Presentation at CSEDU 2022: Factors Influencing Co-Creation of Open Educational Resources Using Learning Object Repositories

Improved Discoverability of Digital Objects in Institutional RepositoriesLighton gave a talk at the 14th International Conference on Computer Supported Education (CSEDU 2022) conference that was held virtually between April 22–24, 2022, due to the effects of the global COVID-19 pandemic.

The talk was based on a peer-reviewed publication titled "Factors Influencing Co-Creation Of Open Education Resources Using Learning Object Repositories". The peer-reviewed paper is primarily based on a capstone research project conducted by Mulenga Chanda, Elizabeth Chirwa, Mirriam Kamanga and Mwenya Kayula.

The research associated with the talk focuses on two core areas: identification of personal motivating factors that can potentially encourage individuals to be co-creators of Open Education Resources (OERs) and, a demonstration of how a scalable and useful OER Learning Object Repository can be designed and implemented.
